Ski Tracks
In Uludağ Ski Centre the ski tracks are about 20km long. In order to make Northern and Alphine Style Skiing, tour skiing and snowboarding there are suitable areas available also for Heliskiing. In Uludağ Ski Centre the height of the snow can reach upto 3 metres high during the winter. In Uludağ Ski Centre there are 8 chair-lifts and 7 teleskis serving.
The best times for skiing in Uludağ is during the period between December 20th and March 20th. Uludağ Ski Centre gets about 3 metres of snow under normal winter conditions displaying powdery snow at the beginning and dewy snow towards the end of winter. Uludağ's Ski Centre's hotel region include 8 chair-lifts and 7 teleskis in the 15 mechanical facilities there are 11000 person/hour capacity existing and 13 various ski tracks in the ski centre.
Transportaion to Uludağ Ski Centre can be accessed both by land and teleferic. There are in total four teleferic lines two of them in Bursa Kadıyayla (1235m) and two in Kadıyayla Sarı Alan (1621m). On every line a cable car carrying 30 people runs. However it is forbidden to convey the skiing kits by teleferic. Minibuses work from Sarı Alan to Uludağ Ski Centre to the hotel region. The distance between Sarı Alan and Uludağ Ski Centre's hotel region is 7 km. Moreover in the summer time from Sarı Alan to Çoban Kaya (1750m) can be accessed by chair-lift. The trip takes nearly 45 minutes.
The road from the centre of Uludag to the National Park entrance is 22 km,from the National Park to Uludağ Ski Centre the hotel region is 12 km. A Minibus and taxicab from Bursa city central to Uludağ can be found any hour of the day during winter.
Climbing up to Uludağ Ski Centre by minibus takes on average about 1hr 3o minutes. If accessing Uludağ Ski Centre by private vehicle Çekirge route is the appropriate option from Bursa. In winter chains, chock and tow rope should be carried in all vehicles. On the way to Uludağ there are stores to buy or hire chains.
